This new Heterojunction with Intrinsic Thin layer solar cell will transform solar energy into electricity even with more than 23% efficiency that is best for crystalline cells so far.

This mark of exceptional efficiency has been achieved by making some changes in cell print technique and the wastage of the energy will also be reduced to get the best results.

However, these new solar cells are passing through testing phase, but according to Sanyo’s claim it’s going to introduce them quite soon and it will be widely used in solar panels for homes.
